Massage, Wellness & Fitness training continuing education classes

Otis Watson, LMT

Otis Watson has been practicing bodywork for fifteen years and teaching for three and a half decades. For him, massage and teaching are two of the most significant, meaningful and profound human interactions that exist. He has taught on college campuses and in South American prisons. He has done massage at national collegiate championships and in cattle pens at bluegrass festivals. Each massage and each class was, for him, a privilege and a chance to receive, as well as give. Mr. Watson’s philosophy: “I hold sacred the trust that someone shows me when they put their body or mind in my care. The body, mind and spirit are inseparable, and to touch one is to touch them all.” Mr. Watson has a B.A. in Elementary Education from UMKC, a B.S.E. in Physical Education from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Arts degree in Recreation Administration from the University of Iowa. He received his diploma from MTTI in 1990, and is qualified to teach Anatomy & Physiology I, II & III, Sports Massage, Kinetic Anatomy, Preparing for the National Certification Exam, Pathology, Assessment & Documentation, CPR & First Aid, and Business Practices. Mr. Watson is a full-time instructor.
