Meditation and Weight-Loss

You already probably know how awesome meditation can be for your overall health, but did you know that this mind-body practice may also be able to help you lose weight? Deepak Chopra was recently on The Dr. Oz Show and talked about how meditation can help you reduce stress and become more present, thereby causing you to eat less (because you’re more aware of your hunger and how much you’re eating) and allowing your body to reduce cortisol and other stress hormones that can cause you to store fat (especially in your belly area).
